In an effort to support exemplary care for people with arthritis in British Columbia, the Mary Pack Arthritis Program (MPAP) is providing resources for physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and people with arthritis, according to the copyright terms outlined below. Professional Resources [0]
- Medical clinical guidelines and treatment protocols, systematically developed statements for physicians, nurses and patients about appropriate care for specific clinical circumstances.
- Assessment tools and treatment approaches used by MPAP physiotherapists and occupational therapists, for use by other care providers in BC.
- Professional education resources include an events calendar outlining upcoming arthritis-related courses and workshops, as well as Power Point Presentations and pod casts on a variety of arthritis-related subjects.
- A listing of recommended Internet Resources for healthcare professionals and consumers
Patient Education Materials [0] Information and educational handouts on a variety of topics for use by people with arthritis and their families.
News Archives [0] Recent or archived news items about the management and care of arthritis-related conditions in BC, as well current and past copies of Clinical Link, a newsletter containing information and clinical tips on arthritis care.
ACE Program [0] The Arthritis Continuing Education Program (ACE) is run by MPAP to support and improve the knowledge and skills of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and nurses in BC who treat people with arthritis. Any allied health professional with an interest in arthritis care can become a member. Read further to learn more about how MPAP supports ACE members.
