Take Charge - Early Intervention for Osteoarthritis

The Take Charge! Early Intervention for Osteoarthritis program is for people experiencing the first signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis. This program developed by The Arthritis Society highlights the importance of early intervention in the management of osteoarthritis.

This program, led by health professionals, is designed specifically for the baby boomer generation and will help you deal with the physical and emotional aspects of the disease. You will learn about osteoarthritis and creating a comprehensive health and lifestyle management plan including appropriate exercise, joint protection, nutrition, weight management, and the use of medications and supplements.

Remember that early intervention is the key. You need information to help you make informed personal health care choices in time to make a difference.

Take Charge! programs run for 4 consecutive weeks or over one weekend.
