Home Care

Home care services are available through your local health care centre and provide a range of health care services for eligible residents who have acute, chronic, palliative or rehabilitative health care needs.

These services are designed to complement and supplement, but not replace, the efforts of individuals to care for themselves with the assistance of family, friends and community.
In-home services, for eligible clients, may include home care nursing, rehabilitation, and palliative care. Services available may vary from one health care centre to another.
