Golfing with Arthritis
Golfing with arthritis is a program presented by The Arthritis Society and led by a physiotherapist, and when possible, a golf professional. These workshops are designed to educate participants about enjoying this popular leisure activity without putting additional stress on their joints.
Golfing is an adaptable activity that increases your strength, mobility and range of movement. It also improves your balance and co-ordination and helps you maintain a healthy weight.
Whether you've played golf for years or are interested in trying it for the first time, arthritis doesn't have to get in your way.
Workshops are between two and two and a half hours in length.
